A Family Project
Lutema Photo NYC (pronounced loo-teh-mah) is a family project of fine art photography for home or office. It is a body of work produced by my son, my daughter, and myself. We chose the name Lutema, which is a blending of our names, symbolizing our collaboration to express our vision of the world around us. We hope you like what you see.

I walk along three creative paths: photography, music, and the study of technology and management. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Management of Technology, I’m driven by both creative exploration and strategic thinking. Photography is where I slow down. It helps me focus, reflect, and stay present, especially during photo excursions where the places I visit—and the people I meet along the way—often become part of the story. Music is another extension of my creativity, offering a different rhythm and outlet for expression. Together, these disciplines create balance. Creativity fuels perspective; structure brings clarity. This blend shapes how I see the world and how I create. If our photographs resonate with you, please support this family-run creative project.

I’ve wanted a camera for as long as I can remember, but my passion for photography truly took shape when I took an after-school digital photography class during my first year of middle school. That experience changed how I saw the world—and I’ve been photographing it ever since. Though I’m still early in my journey, one of my photographs has already been recognized with an award from Graphic Design USA, which encouraged me to continue exploring and growing as a photographer. Photography is just one of my creative outlets. I also enjoy illustrating, cheerleading, and soccer, all of which influence how I see movement, energy, and storytelling through my lens. I’m constantly observing the world from a new perspective, guided by curiosity and creativity. I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my eyes.

Creating fine art photography has been my dream since graduating from Cooper Union’s School of Art. It’s an extraordinary institution for many reasons, but most importantly, it’s where I discovered my true creative passion. Before the rise of digital photography, pursuing fine art was an expensive endeavor, and alongside raising a family, it became difficult to fully devote myself to that dream. Now, with time, tools, and perspective aligned, I’m finally able to return to the work that has always called to me. This journey is one we take together—LU TE MA—and it’s only just beginning.
