ENTER THE WORLD OF
LUTEMA PHOTO NYC
A Family Project
Lutema Photo NYC (pronounced loo-teh-mah) is a family project of fine art photography for home or office. It is a body of work produced by my son, my daughter, and myself. We chose the name Lutema, which is a blending of our names, symbolizing our collaboration to express our vision of the world around us. We hope you like what you see.
I am on three life paths, photography, music and studying to be an engineer. Photography helps me both focus and relax. I enjoy my photo excursions because of the interesting people I meet along
the way. My music is another extension of my creativity and I’m working hard every day to grow in both areas. It’s good to have a creative side to balance the math and science as I look forward to my undergraduate work. If you like our photographs, please support
our family project.
I wanted a camera since I was at least two years old, but the photo bug really bit me when I took an after-school digital photo class in my first year of middle school. Although I’m new to this, one of my photos won an award from GRAPHIC DESIGN USA.
I still have quite a few years of school left, but I will be pursuing photography throughout. Along with photography, I enjoy illustrating, cheerleading, and soccer. I’m hooked on photography and I can’t help seeing the world through the eyes of my camera. Hope you like “how” I see.
"The best way to predict the future is to create it"
Creating fine art photography has been my dream since graduating from Cooper Union’s School of Art. A fabulous institution for many more reasons that I can enumerate, but the most important for me was that I found my creative passion at Cooper. Before the development of digital photography, it was a very expensive “hobby,” and together with raising a family, it was difficult to pursue my dream until now – on we go together > LU TE MA!
